makin’ memories

I am so thankful for humor in this life.

Without it, I would be overwhelmed.

And I’m thankful for fathers, who push aside whatever they are feeling to bring laughter to their children.

Because, often times, this is just what we need. To know that Dad can still laugh.

Much love to all the wonderful fathers out there.

To the featured father in this photograph-thanks.

And might I add, great thankfulness for my dear father who called me early this evening and crooned the chorus of ‘God still Moves,’ complete with trills, to my answering machine and then ended with, ‘How was that?’ Click.

I love you.

About A Story of Us

My grandparents 57th wedding anniversary and my first wedding anniversary motivated to journal the adventures life brought our way . I hope to amuse the friends and family I have all over the country and, when I am my grandmothers age, look back at what I have written and chuckle. It's been four years since I began and the snickers I bring myself as I look back propel me to write on. Cheers to the future and happy memories of the past.
