Shaken Venti Green Tea Lemonade (Sweetened)…an amazing drink that has just the right balance of freshness and sweet, with a nice zippy aftertaste that totally makes it.
If I’m going for a buzz it’s definitely the triple iced white mocha no whip…..

I too am a tiny bit skeptical as it is close to April 1. But since it’s not technically April 1 on the west coast, I would have to say in the winter I go for a skinny caramel latte. If’s it’s after 2:00 pm make it a decaf! Come summer, I love a skinny caramel frap with extra caramel.

My absolute favorite season is Spring. And it’s here! Pretty flowers, buzzing bees, happy birds, muddy kids, invigorating sun, BBQ, scrumptious strawberries and gloriously gruntled me.

I like an Triple Skinny Double Soy Extra Skim April Fools Latte with Extra Double Fat Super Hydrogenated Whip Cream. That’s what I get when I don’t get either a Whole Milk Iced Carmel Macchiato or a Whole Milk Pumkin Spice Latte.
Plain ‘ol latte with extraextra foam.
And 1 pumpkin spice latte a year.
And I like hot choc from Starbucks.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a blog so I guess I can’t tell you that I have two favorite seasons, summer and winter. Love beach gatherings and meeting in the park in summer and love a cozy fireplace, king city camp and soup and hotfridays in the winter.

In the winter, a grande latte, extra hot. Any other time, a Caramel Macchiato over ice. If I really need an afternoon pickup (or if I need to see if my heart is still beating), iced coffee with four shots of classic syrup!

Grande Breve Cappuccino is my favorite in the winter, in the summer I would go for an Espresso Frapp Double Blended with Whipped Cream. Both are really good ! I think if I had to pick one season it would be summer, but I like them all !

Just a bit off topic here… but is gruntled really a word? (See Melanie) If so, its a great one. I guess if someone is disgruntled they are cranky so it would make sense that if someone is gruntled, they are happy as a clam. Must not be a word because it keeps getting underlined for spell check. Not to send everyone off on a tangent or anything…

Well, I might as well enter again…..I love each season equally. Spring is so pretty and fresh, Summer in Calif. is wonderful–every day is a good one without rain ruining any plans, Fall is a welcome change from hot dry August days, and then Winter brings our much needed rain!

As a beach cottage I have sworn off caffeine or non caffeine drinks. Rain, ocean spray, fog, and an occasional hosing courtesy of the ranch lady, are my drinks of choice. However, I would like to have this to share with my favorite guests or my caretaker. He does such a great job with my upkeep (and coercing friends and family to provide a little TLC for my needs) that he deserves an extra shot or two of Starbucks finest. Hi! I’m new to your post, and there’s no better way than to start w/ my favorite Starbucks:
half caff, grande latte, longshot w/ 2 pumps toffee nut, 2 pumps caramel, 2 raw sugar packets, 1 scoop protein – stirred well, extra hot, no foam …. in my handy Starbucks travel “mug” …. I believe there will be a barrista in Heaven ……
I wanted to post about Sheryl’s drink, since I very rarely “do” Starbucks, except to buy a drink for Sheryl…which brings me to my story.
I wrote down the ingredients in the drink above (at her suggestion, I might add). So, I wrote it down and walked into Starbucks with my new “list,” where one barista was waiting to take my order and one was ready to make the drink. I took out my “list” and commented, “This drink is pretty long, so I had to write it down.” I got to the “…and 2 pumps of caramel”, when the barista waiting to make the drink yells, “I know that drink! I know that drink!” She finished the “list.” The first barista turned to the second one and said, “That’s the longest drink I have ever heard.” The second turns to the first and says, “You should hear it when she (Sheryl) orders it…she says it really fast!” Turning to me, the second barista says, “Your wife comes in here with three of your five kids, right?” I said yes and had a sneaking suspicion my wife had been there before….oh, that Starbucks culture…:-)
I’ve never met you, Steve, but I think you are Husband of the Year for going into Starbucks and ordering that drink for your wife. When I send my husband in for “double tall cappuccino” thinks THAT’S hard to remember! (At least you had a little help from the folks there at Starbucks…:)

Sooooo I first read this post on Thursday night right after you put it up and I was like “this is too good to be true.” So I didn’t write a comment or anything about the seasons and all that jazz…but I did tell Em about the post and she said that you were planning to do this a while before April Fools Day and that it is a legit giveaway! So here I am! (although I did get April Fooled at work on Friday…Some random kid just fell out onto the floor in the middle of the hallway and I thought he had passed out…he wasn’t moving and so of course I go into panic mode and I’m like “Oh my, Oh my, Oh my,” and then I repeatedly ask “Are you okay?” and I also recently took my CPR training so thats going through my head (Check, Call, Care)…and then he jumps up and screams APRIL FOOLS! Needless to say it scared me senseless) okay so back to the real post…
My favorite drink is a grande iced white peppermint mocha with whip! 🙂

OMG! Your parents own Journey’s End? We have stayed at a LOT of places in Cayucos and this has been the best place by far! The house was so warm and welcoming. We tried to rent it again for my mom’s birthday in Feb. and it was booked. What a disappointment. I am just so excited to let someone know how much we appreciated the sweet cottage! Hey Kels….I’m finally gettin around to commenting on your blog:) My fav drink at starbucks in the summer is Venti Passion Iced Tea with no sugar and 2 splendas and the price is right. If I don’t get that I get light Caramel Frappacino with no whip (it sticks to the roof of your mouth blech!)
My favorite season is definently SUMMER in California! Hanging out at the pool all day, sun 24/7, stays light outside till 9:00, and wearing flip flops everywhere (well..that can be year round). I think Im gonna like spring here in VA the best if it doesn’t rain.
