Speaking of thanksgiving…

I came across this picture while searching for another and it really just made me chuckle.

Last year, my dad’s side of the family got together at the ranch for thanksgiving. I was in far away Virginia, Wes was working and I was twiddling my thumbs trying not to focus on the going ons at the ranch. This was a bit difficult to do as my inbox was inundated with photos from dad’s iphone. Luckily, they made me laugh, not cry.  It’s nice to feel included. Thank you dear cousins. And I still get a chuckle out of these pictures.

More to come on this beautiful ride.

About A Story of Us

My grandparents 57th wedding anniversary and my first wedding anniversary motivated to journal the adventures life brought our way . I hope to amuse the friends and family I have all over the country and, when I am my grandmothers age, look back at what I have written and chuckle. It's been four years since I began and the snickers I bring myself as I look back propel me to write on. Cheers to the future and happy memories of the past.

Ahhhh what great memories!!! We really did miss you and Wes last year. Even without you though is was probably my favorite Thanksgiving to date. Maybe next year we can all be at the Ranch together. Thanks for a reminder of such fun times.
